Release Notes:
- Software: 3.4.239, Firmware: 3.4.239 (71° official release), 30 July 2025:

• For users adjusting the tail gain to too high values causing strong fluctuations in the tail, the repetition of event 106 “The required Rudder speed is higher than the model can achieve” is limited to a maximum of 4 times per second in order not to saturate the events
• At the request of several users, the ‘Tail Motor Driven’ icon is now also active for Brain 2 standard and Brain 2 BT
• At the request of some users, by adding the option “-comselection” in the command line, when the configuration app is run, a small window appears first for selecting the COM, which is useful for those who have paired more than one Bluetooth module with their PC and do not want to wait for automatic recognition to complete
• in ADVANCED section 4 “Servos” added the subpanel for the regulations of the excursions of “B-Aux3/CH4” auxiliary servo output
• Added the blue event n.75 “Saved Configuration file”
• Added the green Event 11 “Init Completed”
• In DIAGNOSTIC, tab "Recorded log" if you press "Clear Video" the buffer of already downloaded flights is emptied, so that you can download again
• By setting all loggable parameters to “No Log”, the received RPM value on GOV port (parameter 11) can still be displayed in the Real Time tab
• Now, csv files (Recorded Logs.csv, Events.csv) altered by loading and saving in other applications that double the number of carriages returns at the end of each line are also recognized, accepted and uploaded
• Shortened some of the names of loggable parameters by eliminating blank spaces and also eliminating the gaps between the end of the label and the next checkbox so that they are all visible even with reduced screens and/or low resolutions
• AileronOut & ElevatorOut signals are read and displayed in Real Time Logs and in Recorded Logs also when “FLYBARRED” is selected in “Main Rotor Blade Size” panel 10 of the Wizard
• Added Info buttons to the ‘RealTime Logs’, ‘Recorded Logs’, “Vibrations” and ‘Events’ tabs in the DIAGNOSTIC section, which display inside balloons the instructions for those specific panels
• Now, even in Demo Mode, new users can see how the firmware update window is designed and how it works (but it is not possible to update the firmware when in demo mode without a flight controller connected)
• Added some functions in the firmware for diagnostic purposes to facilitate and speed up diagnosis and technical support to users who request it
• New version of embedded document “README_for_OpenTX_EdgeTX_integration_for_BRAIN.pdf”

- Software: 3.4.220, Firmware: 3.4.220 (70° official release), 14 May 2025:

• For the cyclic and tail servos, we increased the maximum refresh rate to 1150Hz. In this way, the optimal operating parameters for Futaba's new UR servos (center pulse 200us 1150Hz) and/or Theta servos (center pulse 300us 1000Hz) can be configured in ADVANCED, section 4 ‘Servos’
• Now by activating (or deactivating) the H-4X 4-servo swashplate, it is no longer necessary to reboot the flight controllers to activate the correct servo 0 operation, but the operation is adjusted in real time upon selection
• For control units that still use the older model gyro sensor, we have deactivated the controls that were added in the latest firmware version for the new sensors because some users report difficulties when switching on the older control units for the first time
• When using motors coaxial to the main shaft, in the vibration graphs, the reference labels ‘Motor’ and ‘Head’ are no longer superimposed on each other so that it is clearer that high vibrations can be generated by both
• Added some functions in the firmware for diagnostic purposes to facilitate and speed up diagnosis and technical support to users who request it
• Corrected, improved, and made some paragraphs of the instructions clearer and more complete
• Shortened some of the names of loggable parameters by eliminating blank spaces and also eliminating the gaps between one checkbox and the next so that they are all visible even with reduced screens and resolutions

- Software: 3.4.201, Firmware: 3.4.201 (68° official release), 12 February 2025:

• ESC Events: If errors are transmitted from the ESC telemetry while the flight control unit is still initializing, they are saved and recorded in the flight control unit's EVENTS immediately after initialization is completed
• The ‘Min V to go’ function now holds the motor in place even when YGE ESCs are used, which unlike all other ESCs, when programmed to work with Futaba brings the minimum value of throttle pulses to switch off the motor below 1000uS (to 950uS)
• JR X-Bus Protocol A: handle unforeseen situations where users incorrectly program transmitters with a throttle signal below -5% and/or above +105%
• The “Configure Bluetooth module” function to initialize and change PIN and NAME of Bluetooth modules now works with more model of Bluetooth modules (the total time the two LEDs both stays lit indicating the sending of the various initialization commands to BT module is now ~12 seconds)
• Added QOS for FrSky receivers that can set the serial output connected to CH3 to “SBUS out” mode (EG: TD-RXX)
• Now with Graupner ‘Basic telemetry’ (RPM for Nitro, Gasser, Turbine models) is also simulated with ‘HoTT Sensor Kind’ set to ESC (that is the default sensor kind) in case ELEC and GEN are already used by external sensors connected to the telemetry bus
• Improved in DIAGNOSTIC the resolution of vertical scale of VSAT parameter (renamed to “SAT Voltage”)
• Following the appearance of 12V servos on the market, event 161 (Servo Voltage greater than...) now occurs when the voltage exceeds 13V.
• In COUNTERS added ‘One Way Bearing’ to the list of components whose time-of-use is to be calculated
• For receivers that can be programmed by the transmitters to use different protocols (EG: F.Port/F.Bus, Crossfire, etc.) the QOS values (Fades, Frame losses, Holds, Frame Rate, etc.) are reset to zero even when changing communication protocols without cycling the power supply.

NOTE: Updates for original Brain/iKON units are now discontinued – future firmware versions will not apply to the older units. From this version on, the Windows, Android and iOS apps will maintain backwards compatibility with old firmware versions. There will no longer be the need to update the firmware in order to make a settings change with new software’s. To improve load times, the update server will no longer serve up firmware for the legacy units. This means that downloading firmware updates will now be faster!

• From now the Aux channel is separated in to two different channels, one (B-Aux1) dedicated to the Auto Leve / Rescue function and the other (B-Aux2) dedicated to the CH2 output. During the first update the new B-Aux2 channel is set equal to the actual B-Aux1 channel so for users there is any change from the actual configuration
• Now to the CH2 output can be assigned a different radio channel from that used for the Auto Level / Rescue activation and used independently for the control of Buzzers, Turn On GlowPlug, Position Lights, Retractable Landing gear, Smoke Generators, Servo to adjust the carburation, etc. etc. or for the control by CCPM Mixer of fourth servo for H-4X swashplate
• Added H-4X swashplate icon in the “Swashplate Type Selection” page of the wizard and in the selection curtain of “Swashplate Type” in the Advanced => Common => CCPM. Selecting this Swashplate kind, the CH2 output is assigned and controlled by the CCPM Mixer and the B-Aux2 parameter shown in the "Transmitter Setup (Input)" panels is removed. This function doesn’t work with standard receivers and PPM/SUMO Receivers
• Revised in Advanced => Common the panel "CCPM" to show the new parameter "Servo 0 Angle (yellow):" that it is activated and graphically displayed only when the swashplate H-4X is selected
• Added in Advanced => Common => Servos the panel for the regulation of “Servo 0/Aux2/CH2” parameters
